Brian Shaughnessy discovered his passion for boating while racing J-22's and Etchells sailboats in and around the Northshore area. Brian has raced competively in Block Island Race Week and Bermuda. Sam Pollard has been an avid sailor for 20 years. Starting out on the Charles River in Boston and frostbite racing in Boston Harbor, Sam has since sailed from the Maine coast to Bermuda and around the Caribbean. Recently, Sam and his family completed a one-year cruise down the East Coast, through the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Jim Hosking has been on the water as long as he can remember. Racing in Marblehead began in 1971. Since then, he and his wife have had much success in racing. Jim also enjoys cruising. Co-founder of SAILBOATS NORTHEAST, INC. in 1973, Weston "Westy" Adams along with his dedicated team recently celebrated the companies 25th year in the yacht brokerage business in Marblehead. Westy is a member (and former Director) of the Yacht Architects and Brokers Association, and a former Director of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce. An avid sailor, Westy's credits include multiple New England Racing Championships between 1977 and 1982. He is equally passionate about golf and enjoys scuba diving.
